The CROP Belt

The product that most clearly represents CROP’s values, timeless design, generational use, and thoughtful material reuse.

At the center of the CROP Belt is a handmade, in-house cast brass buckle. Each buckle is cast from reclaimed brass, including old pipe fittings and scrap material, then finished by hand to create a piece of hardware designed to last a lifetime. No two buckles are exactly the same, and each one will develop a natural patina through years of wear.

Production time is 1-3 days from when the order is processed.

The Strap System

The CROP Belt is designed around a modular strap system built from premium offcut upholstery leather, paired with vegetable-tanned leather for structure and longevity. Upholstery leather offers a soft, adaptive feel, while the vegetable-tanned core provides the strength needed for everyday use.

All straps are fully interchangeable and replaceable, allowing the belt to evolve over time without replacing the buckle.

Strap Option 1: Single-Color Strap

A clean, classic configuration. 1.25 inches wide

This strap is constructed from a single piece of premium upholstery leather, sewn to a 6 oz vegetable-tanned leather backing. The result is a straightforward, durable strap with a traditional look and feel ideal for those who want a simple, timeless belt that will age naturally with use.

Strap Option 2: Reversible Black & Dark Brown

A more expressive, modular option. 1.25 inches wide

This strap features two layers of premium upholstery leather wrapped around a 4 oz vegetable-tanned leather core, allowing for two distinct leather colors in a single belt. The layered construction maintains flexibility and comfort while adding visual depth and long-term durability. This option also makes it easy to swap or add straps in the future, extending the life and versatility of the belt.

The Reversible strap comes with a handmade two-tone leather carrying case, and holds to strap saver of the color your not using at that time.

Months of design and testing went into refining the CROP Belt, with an emphasis not only on strength, but on repairability. Every component is designed to be repaired or replaced because belts wear down, and good design should account for that.

Built to age, built to be serviced, and built for generational use, the CROP Belt is a long term alternative to disposable accessories.
